MEAL PLANNING

How to plan a keto-style week without overcomplicating it

A useful plan starts with the next few meals you can actually make, not a promise to change everything at once.

Begin with your real week

Mark the days when you can cook and the days when you need a quick meal. Decide how many people will eat, what is already in the kitchen and how much time you want to spend. A two-day plan can be easier to test than a full week; you can extend the routine when it fits.

Pick repeatable building blocks

Choose a few proteins, vegetables and flavourings you enjoy, then vary the combinations. For example, an egg-and-vegetable breakfast and a chicken salad can share greens without feeling like the same meal. Plan a leftover meal only if you will store and use it safely. The goal is a workable shopping list, not a rigid food rule.

Review the generated menu

Check every ingredient against allergies and personal restrictions. Look at portion sizes, cooking steps and approximate nutrition before shopping. If a recipe is impractical, change your preferences and create a new menu when you choose. AI estimates and generic keto-style labels do not confirm ketosis or make the plan suitable for a medical condition.

Carry useful feedback forward

After a few days, note what was easy to cook and what felt repetitive. A short comment such as “less pasta, more fish” is more actionable than “make it better.” Keep your long-term goal separate from the immediate menu: the next 2–7 days are one planning step, and results vary between people.
